Do I have to pay a fee for a buyer’s agent to represent me?

Rating: +0

Positive Negative

No – not unless you negotiate a special agreement with the buyer’s agent. The buyer’s agent is paid from the transaction from the listing Real Estate Agency when the transaction closes. The Buyer’s Representation Agreement is strictly to establish the agency agreement between the buyer and the agent. It explains the various types of agency relationships the buyer could have with the realtor agent and forms a bond of loyalty between the agent and the buyer which is in everyone’s best interest.
